Fall is certainly taking it's sweet time in Chicago. I'm a fall girl through and through. I love all of the chunky scarves and boots. But it's been to warm for all of that in the city! Luckily, I have this adorable black and white patterned dress with several different patterns! It really reads fall with the pattern and style...but still keeps me cool while Chicago rages on with the 80 plus degree weather.
To keep the essence of fall going, I paired in with my favorite classic black booties. If you're somewhere like Chicago, where the weather refuses to cooperate with fall, one of the easiest ways to still achieve a more fall oriented look is with some killer booties. By pairing them with this black and white patterned dress, I was able to make a sleeveless dress look a lot more like fall fashion.
One of my favorite things about this dress is how versatile it is. The playful patterns are really eye catching, and the material is thick and structured. The material helps the dress give a really figure flattering shape. Whenever I expose my arms, I need the rest of the dress to have a really flattering shape because I'm not overly confident in my arms.
And this black and white patterned dress can be styled in many ways. As the weather does get a little cooler, I can pair it with blazers, cardigans, and light moto jackets.
If you're apprehensive about trying the pattern mixing trend, I would suggest getting a dress like this that already does all of the pattern mixing for you. That way you can participate in the trend without worrying if your patterns mix or clash. A multi patterned dress like this already does that pattern mixing for you so that you know you're wearing ones that go together (hopefully).
