As I'm sure you can tell from the fact that I run an online store full of coffee mugs...I'm a bit of a mug hoarder. They easily take up several cabinets in my kitchen, and I often have a difficult time quickly and easily finding my favorite ones (like this Blogging is my Cardio mug). Plus, with so many cute mugs, why I wouldn't I want to put them on display?!

I've partnered with my favorite coffee creamer, International Delight to show you how to create a simple DIY coffee mug holder that will help make your morning routine so much more enjoyable.

Like International Delight's new Simply Pure creamer, our DIY pegboard coffee mug holder will only include 5 items. That's one of the things I love most about Simply Pure is that the creamer only contains 5 simple ingredients; making it perfect for everyday use. So, here is what you will need to create the perfect, simple DIY coffee mug holder.

What You Need:

Pegboard // Molding // Wall Hooks // Glue // Nails // Cute Mugs

Step 1: Gather up your items and have them cut. We knew the exact measurements of the pegboard for the area. We only had to get one long thing of molding and had it cut down to fit the board. Remember, the molding will need to be cut at an angle.

Step 2: Glue your molding corners shut. This did take a little while. The glue really needs time to dry. We ended up using a clamp to hold the ends together while the glue dried (although your hand works just as well).

3) Measure our your hooks. We wanted to make sure that we could create an even pattern for the mugs, so we took the time to measure out exactly where the pegs will go and how many mugs we could fit.

Step 4: Hang it all on the wall. We used nails to hang up the pegboard separately from the molding. Luckily, pegboard already has pre-made holes. Next we "snapped" the molding frame into place around the pegboard. Since it's a tight frame, it fits on incredibly well. However, we do suggest using something like command strips to keep the frame on the wall. Find these easily at Walmart.

Step 5: Add your mugs and begin enjoying a delicious cup of coffee and Simply Delight creamer every morning! Now you don't have to work so hard to find the perfect mug.
